Love the Treasures Within: The Intro

I have always had an interest in writing, so back in 2004 when I discovered the world of blogs, it was an exciting thing. On my first blog, I mainly wrote about my life. I’d talk about my pets,my opinions on animal rites issues, some of my travels or the latest gadget I purchased. After a while, this got boring and I wanted to do something more meaningful so I started an early childhood education blog which still exists, but I rarely update it anymore. I was passionate about teaching, sharing ideas and connecting with others. I started to have a small following, doing occasional product reviews and hosting a few giveaways. However, as my job has changed over the years, I found less time to write and less inspiration from my classrooms. I can officially say I’m burnt out on my career and in the past few years, there have been a variety of changes in my personal life which have lead me down this path.

Lately, something has been nudging me to start a blog again. My problem was, I wasn’t getting any inspiration, but I realized that I am going down a new path. I am discovering new things about myself and maybe there are other people who are in the same boat. Maybe I could share my journey and help someone else. I am at a place of transformation. A big part of this blog will be focusing on my journey to self love, accepting imperfections, getting over fears, finding my true passion and discovering the gifts that I have within. the ones I haven’t discovered yet. Both in myself and in others. Those are the treasures and that’s where the name of the blog comes from.

Some of my other interests are parenting, reading, crafting, traveling, cooking, helping others and animals which I will write about from time to time. I look forward to this new opportunity to learn, teach, share and grow with all of you. I am excited to see how this blog will evolve. Thank you for reading and being apart of my journey.
